The Microsoft Partner Technology Solutions Professional Program (P-TSP) is a select group chosen from the Microsoft partner community, whose focus is to augment Microsoft’s internal Technology Specialist team. Their primary role is to communicate the value of Microsoft Solutions to customers and to provide architectural guidance for Enterprise Integration solutions. The program is designed to enable a high performance team of partner-based resources to deliver pre-sale activities and resources to empower customers and help them meet their solution and integration needs.
Jeff Ferguson is a Principal Consultant with Magenic. He has been with Magenic since 1996 and has worked in the software development community since 1989. Jeff has developed code for the Microsoft technology stack during all of that time and has been involved in a variety of both desktop and Web-based projects using C, C++, C# and Visual Basic. Jeff has served in architecture, design and development roles for several of Magenic’s clients. He also engages in technology-focused public speaking, notably to user groups and events ranging from the Twin Cities Languages User Group to the Twin Cities Code Camp.
In addition to Jeff’s customer-facing role as Principal Consultant, he also serves as a presales technical resource for Microsoft’s sales team through the Partner Technology Solutions Professional (P-TSP) program. Through this program, he is engaged by Microsoft personnel to provide technology overviews, proofs-of-concept, technical demonstrations, and technology assessments for Microsoft’s customers.
A Consulting Manager and Principal Consultant for Magenic, as well as a Microsoft P-TSP (BizTalk and App Plat), Andrew Schwarz serves as the technical point person on all of the largest and most strategic pursuits for Magenic’s flagship office. With experience in software development, quality assurance, enterprise application integration and business process management, Andrew is able to bring his broad technical background to bear in support of all of Magenic’s sales team. Andrew holds MCSD certification and two MCTS certifications for Microsoft BizTalk Server. He also secures the Sales and Marketing requirements for all of Magenic’s Microsoft Competencies.
In addition to Andrew’s duties as a Consulting Manager at Magenic, Andrew also serves as a presales technical resource for Microsoft’s sales team through the Partner Technology Solutions Professional (P-TSP) program. Through this program, Andrew is engaged by Microsoft personnel to provide technology overviews, proofs-of-concept, technical demonstrations, and technology assessments for Microsoft’s customers. Andrew has delivered dozens of Core Infrastructure Optimization (Core IO), Business Productivity Infrastructure Optimization (BPIO) and Application Platform Optimization (APO) assessments for Microsoft and Magenic’s shared customer base.
Brad Friedlander is a Principal Consultant and Solutions Architect for Magenic and a Partner Technology Solutions Professional (P-TSP) for BizTalk. He has over 25 years of experience in architecting, designing, and
developing innovative solutions using a broad array of methodologies and technologies—Microsoft and
others common used in industry.
Brad has a broad and deep experience in systems architecture and systems integration. He has
substantial understanding of object oriented and component-based methodologies and design
techniques as well as n-tier Client/Server and web-based environments. Brad provides successful
leadership to complex technology projects that are focused on delivering maximum business benefit.
Brad presents at Code Camps and user group meetings. He also provides leadership to Magenic’s
systems integration practice.
Daniel Hester is a Principal Consultant for Magenic and a Microsoft P-TSP (Partner Technology Solutions Professional) for BizTalk Server. Daniel has over sixteen years of consulting experience and joined Magenic in 2004. Since 2005 Daniel has focused exclusively on BizTalk Server and architects integration solutions for our customers. Daniel is a frequent presenter at Microsoft BizTalk Server events on the West Coast and a member of Bay.NET, the Bay Area's .NET User Group.
Daniel earned his bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Vassar College and holds MCTS and MCP certifications in BizTalk Server.
Stevo Smocilac is an Associate Principal Consultant with Magenic. He has been with Magenic since 2011 and has over 12 years’ experience working in software development; the last 7 of which have been focused on designing, implementing, managing and administrating technical solutions developed using Microsoft SQL Server and the Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack. Stevo has played a key role in transforming the Business Intelligence environments at a number of organizations, helping them better leverage the Microsoft BI toolset or move onto the Microsoft BI Stack from a competing vendor’s platform. He has developed and deployed a number of major BI projects within various business domains, including Sales, Marketing, Healthcare and Product systems.
Stevo is a proven team leader and has experience leading geographically distributed development teams, with involvement in all phases of the development lifecycle; from envisioning through operational support. His effective management and database development skills are complemented by extensive administrative experience with SQL Server and Analysis Services, including security, performance tuning, monitoring, troubleshooting, disaster recovery and SQL Server version migrations..
