The headlines continue to be filled with news about patents in the tech space and the big boys that continue to pour money into litigation. And Google’s recent 12.5 billion dollar acquisition of Motorola Mobility, and its associated stash of patents, makes it that much more interesting to watch.
Ernest Grumbles
To get a little bit of an idea of how this will impact mobile over and in the enterprise, I spoke with Ernest Grumbles. Ernest is a partner with the Adams-Monahan, LLP law firm in Minneapolis with plenty of experience in Patent and Intellectual Property law.
In the interview below, Ernest touches on the latest patent litigation landscape, how it is impacting mobile in general and as the latest Google acquisition plays into it. He also comments about how it touches everyone from developers to business to individual users.
