Magenic prides itself on acquiring the best young talent in the industry and pushing that talent to grow under our MVPs and thought leaders, but we've taken that philosophy to the extreme in sponsoring Minneapolis-based nonprofit organization High Tech Kids.

High Tech Kids' mission is to deliver fun, hands-on science, engineering and technology programs and events that inspire Minnesota kids in their formative years.

They inspire kids to BUILD confidence, CREATE opportunities and THRIVE in the 21st century. High Tech Kids is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit that supports the Minnesota FIRST® LEGO® League each fall/winter and the Minnesota Renewable Energy Challenge each spring.

Through these programs, High Tech Kids trains, teaches and empowers student teams, coaches and volunteers. They work hard with the help of more than 700 volunteers to offer high energy, fun, team-based programs and competitions that celebrate science and technology. Kids learn how to work together, solve real-world problems and become leaders. To support High Tech Kids is to invest in their children, to share their passion, and to inspire these future innovators, leaders, collaborators, and problem solvers for the 21st century.

High Tech Kids now serves over 3,000 kids across Minnesota each year. Since the organization's inception in 1999 they have helped over 22,000 students discover the fun in science and technology.

Magenic is happy to support both High Tech Kids and Norton Lam, our mobile practice lead who has become heavily-involved with High Tech Kids in recent years.
