The Holiday season brings tidings of cheer, generosity, and ugly apparel as Magenic celebrates its good fortune by giving back to those in need. From dolls to nerf blasters, Magenicons brought toys and cash donations for the Marine Toys for Tots program.
Started in 1947, the Marine Toys for Tots program is a not-for-profit charity that provides toys to less-fortunate children around the United States. The charity donates 97% of all funds directly to the program and is typically coordinated and managed by Marine Veterans and other generous members of the community.
Magenic has hosted a drive for the Marine Toys for Tots program for the last 3 years. This year, our drive raised hundreds of dollars and more than 20 toys for donation. Magenicons mingled, and after much debate, ugly sweater winners were chosen…
Congratulations to Jessica Ballantine, Tyra Johnson, and Dave Meier for winning the contest for best ugly sweater! While the sweaters were indeed ugly, they didn’t spoil their warm holiday spirits!
