Completing a vital CRM iteration rollout for an International Management Consulting Firm

An international management consulting firm was having problems completing the rollout of a major iteration of its custom marketing CRM system. The client had been using an offshore vendor for two years to develop the application, but the results were poor. The roadmap was constantly changing and the client had no control over quality and results. It became clear the vendor lacked the ability to complete the task. With major architectural changes still required, the client knew they needed a partner with the expertise to implement the changes and rollout a finished product.
Magenic was facing a challenging situation that required a team of experienced professionals to get the job done. In addition to implementing major architectural changes, many defects were found in the system that needed to be fixed. Magenic’s development team, consisting of onshore and offshore resources, was able to provide technical leadership, planning, project ramp-up, and estimation for the entire rollout. Magenic was able to work with the client to complete the rollout successfully. It was so successful, the client added a second team to add features and enhancements.
What had been an extremely stressful and complex problem for the client was now a successful business system due to Magenic’s proficiency throughout the engagement. In addition to rolling out the major release of the CRM system and surpassing expectations, Magenic was able to deliver enhancements that were not thought possible in the given timeframe, fixed many of the features that had never worked before, and made data more available and usable.
